Under sail, the Dufour 470 utilizes a full batten mainsail and twin steering wheels, supported by a 60 hp engine and a bow thruster for close-quarters marina handling. Navigation and communication tools include an autopilot and VHF radio. Her tanks hold 250 liters of fuel and 530 liters of fresh water, while an onboard watermaker, solar panels, and an inverter extend your time between port calls and assist battery health at anchor. Additional equipment includes electric toilets, electric fans in the cabins, and an aft bathing platform. The vessel is operated and managed by the charter company Aladar Sail.
