Configured with four cabins, one crew cabin, and four heads, this catamaran accommodates up to 11 people, making her well suited for families or groups of friends sailing together. Built in 2025 by Lagoon-Bénéteau, the Lagoon 42 Almalu measures 12.8 m (42 ft) in length overall with a draft of 1.25 m (4 ft).
Based in Portorosa along the northern coast of Sicily, Italy, she offers convenient access for exploring the volcanic Aeolian Islands. From this base, you can charter Almalu on either a bareboat or skippered basis depending on your group's sailing credentials and preferences.
Under sail, she is rigged with a full batten mainsail and a steering wheel, supported by twin 57 HP engines, a 540-liter fuel tank, and a 300-liter freshwater tank. Navigation equipment includes an autopilot and a VHF radio, alongside an outboard engine for tender transfers ashore. An onboard watermaker and inverter help extend time between port calls and support battery health while at anchor. She features air conditioning for onboard comfort powered by a generator, as well as electric toilets and a NESPRESSO coffee machine. The vessel is operated and managed by the charter company Aladar Sail.
