Built in 2020 by Lagoon-Bénéteau, the Lagoon 42 Sophie is available for bareboat and skippered charters. She features an overall length of 12.8 m (42 ft), a draft of 1.25 m (4 ft), and a mast length of 20.65 m (68 ft).
Below deck, the layout comprises 4 cabins, 2 crew cabins, and 4 heads, accommodating up to 12 people on board. For interior climate comfort, Sophie features air conditioning, which operates only when connected to 220V shore power in a marina or port. Practical living amenities onboard include an oven, gas cookers, pillows, and Wi-Fi internet connectivity for personal electronic devices.
On deck, she is equipped with a classic mainsail, a steering wheel, and outdoor speakers for entertainment. Navigation and communication equipment includes an autopilot, VHF radio, and nautical charts with an official nautical guide. Dual 57 HP engines provide mechanical propulsion, supported by a 600 L fuel tank and a 600 L water tank capacity for navigation.
