Draft 1.25 m (4 ft) Based at Lefkas, Main Port in the sheltered Ionian Islands of Greece, this cruising area provides access to calm coastal waters, island itineraries, and steady sailing breezes. Built by Fountaine Pajot in 2021, the Fountaine Pajot Astrea 42 Nostos measures 12.58 m (41 ft) in length overall with a draft of 1.25 m (4 ft). This catamaran is available for both bareboat and skippered charter.
The interior layout accommodates up to 10 people across 4 cabins and 2 crew cabins, and is supported by 4 heads. For onboard comfort during warm weather, Nostos features air conditioning powered by an onboard generator. A watermaker desalinator extends time between port calls by producing fresh water, while solar panels help sustain battery health at anchor. Equipment on board also includes an oven in the galley, along with outdoor speakers mounted in the cockpit area.
Under sail, the vessel carries a full batten mainsail, while an autopilot assists the helm during coastal navigation. Auxiliary motor propulsion is provided by two 50 HP engines. Tankage comprises a 470 L fuel tank and a 700 L water tank to support coastal cruising across the archipelago. She is operated and managed by the charter company Ionian Catamarans.
