Starting from D-Marin in Lefkas, the surrounding Ionian Islands in Greece provide reliable sailing conditions and picturesque anchorages. Built by Hanse Yachts in 2013, the Hanse 345 Alkion is a functional monohull sailboat measuring 10.4 m (34 ft) in length overall with a draft of 1.87 m (6 ft). She is available for both bareboat and skippered charter configurations.
The interior layout provides 3 cabins and 1 head with an electric toilet, accommodating a maximum capacity of up to 6 people on board. Electric fans in cabins ensure continuous air circulation for personal comfort in warmer weather. On deck, Alkion is fitted with a bathing platform for direct access to the sea during swim stops. In addition, mounted solar panels assist in maintaining onboard battery health at anchor, helping to extend time between port visits without overtaxing the electrical systems.
Under sail, the vessel utilizes a full batten mainsail paired with a steering wheel, an autopilot, and a VHF radio for coastal communications. Mechanical propulsion comes from a single 27 HP engine, supported by a 160 L fuel tank and a 230 L water tank capacity. She is operated and managed by the charter company Istion Yachting.
