Built in 2015 by Hanse Yachts, the Hanse 505 Kimi is a monohull sailboat based at Kos Marina on the island of Kos in Greece. Available for bareboat and skippered charters, the vessel measures 15.4 m (51 ft) in length overall with a draft of 2.38 m (8 ft). Her length gives extra space on board compared with smaller monohulls, accommodating up to 12 people across 5 cabins, 1 crew cabin, and 2 heads with electric toilets.
On deck and below, Kimi is equipped for functional cruising with a full batten mainsail, steering wheel control, and a bow thruster for harbor maneuvers. Mechanical power comes from a single 72 HP engine, supported by a 300 L fuel tank and a 650 L water tank. Navigation and safety instruments include an autopilot and a VHF radio. For onboard comfort, she features air conditioning alongside electric fans in cabins, powered by an onboard generator. Solar panels help maintain battery health during anchorages and extend time between port calls, while snorkeling equipment is also provided on board.
This layout offers comfortable and practical accommodation for private groups sailing across the Dodecanese islands. She is operated and managed by the charter company Istion Yachting.
