Departing from Perigiali on the island of Lefkas in Greece, sailors can explore the calm, sheltered waters of the central Ionian Sea and its neighboring islands. Built in 2018 by Lagoon-Bénéteau, the Lagoon 380 S2 Why Knot measures 11.55 m (38 ft) in length overall with a shallow draft of 1.15 m (4 ft). This catamaran is available for both bareboat and skippered charters.
Inside, the vessel features 4 cabins, 2 crew cabins, and 2 heads, accommodating up to 10 people on board. Onboard entertainment is provided by a radio CD mp3 player with USB connectivity, alongside snorkeling equipment for coastal recreation. For sustainable power management during quiet anchorages, Why Knot is equipped with solar panels and an inverter, which help support battery health and extend time between port calls.
Under sail, she is rigged with a full batten mainsail and controlled from a steering wheel station, supported by an autopilot and VHF radio. Propulsion comes from two 27 HP engines, complemented by a 200 L fuel tank and a 300 L water tank. Boarding is made easy with a hydraulic gangway and tender mobility via an outboard engine. She is operated and managed by the charter company Hellenic Yachting.
