Draft 1.25 m (4 ft) Starting from Preveza Main Port in Preveza, Greece, this departure base provides a gateway to the cruising grounds of the Ionian Sea. Built in 2021 by Lagoon-Bénéteau, the Lagoon 42 Aurora has an overall length of 12.8 m (42 ft) and a draft of 1.25 m (4 ft). This catamaran is offered for charter under either bareboat or skippered arrangements.
The interior layout is configured to accommodate up to 12 people across 4 cabins and 2 crew cabins, supported by 4 heads equipped with electric toilet systems. To ensure climate comfort throughout the living quarters, she features air conditioning for onboard comfort, powered away from port connections by an onboard generator. To extend time between port calls and support battery health at anchor, Aurora is equipped with a watermaker and solar panels.
Under sail, she carries a full batten mainsail, with navigation handled through a steering wheel station and an autopilot. Auxiliary propulsion is delivered by two 45 HP engines, supplied by a 300 L fuel tank, while the freshwater tank provides a capacity of 600 L. For convenient boarding when docked stern-to, she is also fitted with a hydraulic gangway. She is operated and managed by the charter company Istion Yachting.
