Based in Alimos marina within the Athens/ Saronic region of Greece, this location provides direct access to the sheltered waters of the Saronic Gulf and nearby island routes. Built in 2021 by boatbuilder Lagoon-Bénéteau, the Lagoon 42 Karteria measures 12.8 m (42 ft) in length overall with a draft of 1.25 m (4 ft). The multihull is available for both bareboat and skippered charter, allowing charterers to choose between independent navigation and hiring a skipper.
Her layout includes 4 cabins and 2 crew cabins, offering designated accommodation for up to 10 people on board, along with 4 heads equipped with electric toilets. For onboard comfort during warm Mediterranean days, Karteria features air conditioning powered by an electrical generator. The vessel also carries solar panels, which help maintain battery health at anchor and extend time between port calls without requiring shore connection.
On deck and at the helm, sailing operations are supported by a full batten mainsail, an autopilot system, and a VHF radio for offshore communication. Auxiliary power comes from 2 engines, while a 600-liter freshwater tank ensures ample domestic water supply during island passages. The catamaran is operated and managed by the charter company Istion Yachting.
