Built in 2019 by Lagoon-Bénéteau, the Lagoon 42 Melissanthi is a catamaran based at Kos Marina on the island of Kos in the Dodecanese region of Greece. Available for both bareboat and skippered charters, the vessel measures 12.8 m (42 ft) in length overall with a draft of 1.25 m (4 ft). Her interior layout provides 4 cabins, 2 crew cabins, and 4 heads equipped with electric toilets, accommodating up to 12 people on board.
Under sail, she is rigged with a full batten mainsail and powered by two engines, supported by a 700-liter fuel tank and a 600-liter water tank. Onboard navigation and communication equipment includes an autopilot alongside a VHF radio. To help extend time between port calls and support battery health while at anchor, Melissanthi is equipped with solar panels. She also features air conditioning for onboard comfort, powered by an onboard generator, along with electric fans fitted in the cabins.
Complete with an outboard engine for tender shore transfers, this Lagoon 42 provides a practical layout and reliable equipment for sailing routes throughout the surrounding Dodecanese archipelago. The vessel is operated and managed by the charter company Istion Yachting.
