Offering four cabins, two heads, and capacity for up to 10 people, this layout suits families or groups of friends sailing together. Built in 2021 by Bénéteau, the Oceanis 40.1 Aurora has a length overall of 12.87 m (42 ft) and a draft of 2.17 m (7 ft).
The sailboat is based at New Marina in Rhodes, positioned within the Dodecanese archipelago in Greece. From this Aegean departure base, you can set sail toward nearby islands, coastal anchorages, and traditional harbor towns. The vessel is available for both bareboat and skippered charters. You can take the helm yourself if qualified, or hire a skipper to handle the navigation while you enjoy the journey. Throughout the sailing grounds, Aurora offers a dependable platform for island cruising.
Her technical specifications include a single 45 HP engine, a 200 L fuel tank, and a 240 L freshwater tank. Under sail, she features a furling mainsail and two steering wheels, supported by a bow thruster for marina maneuvering and an autopilot for open water passages. Onboard equipment also provides a VHF radio for safety communications, an outboard engine, and snorkeling equipment for anchorages. She is operated and managed by the charter company Hellenic Yachting.
