Draft 2.00 m (6 ft) Based at Kos Marina on the island of Kos in the Dodecanese archipelago of Greece, this sailing location offers direct routes across Aegean cruising grounds. Built in 2007 by AD Boats, the Salona 40 Vira has an overall length of 11.99 m (39 ft) and a draft of 2 m (7 ft). She is available for both bareboat and skippered charters, giving charterers flexible sailing options suited to their coastal itinerary and experience.
Inside, the interior layout features 3 cabins and 2 heads to comfortably accommodate up to 8 people on board. For onboard sanitation, Vira is equipped with an electric toilet. An outboard motor is also provided to assist with tender transfers and coastal exploration when resting at anchor during island stops.
Under sail, she is rigged with a full batten mainsail and operated via a steering wheel, supported by an autopilot and a VHF radio for offshore navigation. Docking and close quarters handling are assisted by a bow thruster, alongside a 40 HP engine powered by a 200 L fuel tank. Fresh water is supplied by a 200 L water tank to meet daily onboard needs. The sailboat is operated and managed by the charter company Istion Yachting.
