The sailing season in Split starts in May and finishes at the end of October. During summer the average temperature is 25 degrees Celsius and the sea a balmy 22 degrees. You will find mostly light winds, that get slightly stronger in the afternoon (up to 15 knots) and offer great sailing opportunities. The wind starts dropping off again in the evening, allowing charterers to be able to moor up easily and confidently for the night.
