Aizu sailboat rental

Starting out from Alimos marina in the Athens/ Saronic region of Greece, this location provides direct access to prime cruising grounds throughout the Aegean Sea. Built by Custom Made, the Aizu Aizu is a crewed sailboat launched in 1989 and refitted in 2019. Measuring 30.16 m (99 ft) with a draft of 2.2 m (7 ft), her overall length provides considerably more living and deck space than smaller monohulls.

With a layout configured for up to 8 people, the vessel features 4 cabins and 4 heads, providing extra interior space that her large hull affords compared with smaller monohulls. She is equipped with air conditioning for onboard comfort, which operates only when connected to 220V shore power in a marina or port. An onboard DVD player provides media entertainment, while Wi-Fi Internet ensures reliable communication during time spent aboard Aizu.

Under sail, she is rigged with a furling/roll sail system for efficient passage making across open waters. Auxiliary propulsion is supplied by two engines producing 250 HP, supporting steady cruising when motoring is required. Tank capacities include a 4,800-liter fuel tank and a 6,000-liter fresh water tank. This crewed vessel is operated and managed by the charter company Istion Yachting.
