Built in 2024 by Lagoon-Bénéteau, the crewed Lagoon 51 Effie Star measures 15.35 m (50 ft) in length with a draft of 1.38 m (5 ft). Her generous catamaran dimensions provide ample deck space, calm stability, and enhanced privacy throughout every area of the vessel.

The interior layout accommodates up to 10 people across 5 cabins, accompanied by 4 heads. Because she is equipped with a generator, Effie Star features air conditioning for onboard comfort during warm Mediterranean sailing. An onboard watermaker produces fresh water underway, helping to extend time between port calls without requiring frequent marina stops. Additionally, those on board can utilize Wi-Fi internet to stay connected, while an outdoor grill provides a practical cooking option at anchor.

Under sail, she is rigged with a full batten mainsail for balanced handling, complemented by two 80 HP engines that ensure steady cruising speeds.
