Starting from Gouvia Marina on the island of Corfu in Greece, this base offers a practical departure point for sailing the Ionian Sea and its surrounding islands. Built by Lagoon-Bénéteau in 2018, the Lagoon 42 Equilibrium measures 12.8 m (42 ft) in length with a draft of 1.25 m (4 ft) and is available for bareboat or skippered charter.
Inside, the catamaran layout comprises 4 cabins and 2 crew cabins to accommodate up to 10 people, complemented by 4 heads with electric toilets. For onboard comfort, Equilibrium features air conditioning powered by an onboard generator, alongside electric fans in cabins to maintain airflow. A watermaker extends time between port calls by producing fresh water, while solar panels support battery health at anchor. The galley is equipped with gas cookers, and an outboard motor tender alongside snorkeling equipment is provided for shore excursions.
Navigation and sail handling are managed from the helm with a steering wheel, full batten mainsail, autopilot, and a VHF radio. Auxiliary propulsion is delivered by a 57 HP engine, supported by a 400 L fuel tank and a 600 L water tank. The vessel is operated and managed by the charter company Istion Yachting.
